Herb Scott's Jazz Show

The first floor of Marvin is where live performances take the stage every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday through Saturday. Doors open and happy hour starts at 6 pm. Live music starts at at 7 pm on Monday and Thursday and on 8 pm on Friday and Saturday.

We are first come first serve and all ages are welcomed. We are currently taking reservations for parties up to 10 guests from 6-8 pm. We do our best to accommodate everyone! If you would like to make a reservation please email events@marvindc.com

D.C. Native and saxophonist Herb Scott is a rising star on the Washington, D.C. Jazz scene. While studying at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts under the award-winning educator Davey Yarborough, he performed with renowned trumpeter Wynton Marsalis and Jazz pianist Herbie Hancock.

In 2017 Herb formed a non-profit, The Capitol Hill Jazz Foundation which provides critical resources, including advocacy, to DC-based Jazz musicians, venues, and music education programs.

Food and drink also play a starring role for guests who want dinner and a show. Our full menu is available on Mondays-Thursday, 6 pm-10 pm and Fridays and Saturday from 6-11 pm.

Happy hour food and drink are available from opening until 7 pm, Monday-Friday. Offerings below.
